nudity Some sensuality: *George is c;ad only in a loincloth throughout most of the film. *George licks Ursula's face while she's asleep, though this seems to be more curiosity than a sexual advance. *George is seen fully nude in Ursula's apartment. You ONLY briefly see his butt. His body is quite wet and oily looking. Ursula's friend looks and acts aroused by his sight. *George's nipples are twisted and he is tickle-tortured by the main villains. *The ape teaches George how to get women to be attracted to him, though the techniques are intended for apes to attract a mate and thus are for comic effect. *An ape forcefully kisses Lyle. *Ursula's mother threatens to remove George's "reason for wearing a loincloth."
violence Lyle tries to bluff his way at George who rushes forward to stop the poachers and Lyle then shoots him (thinking he's got a cigarette lighter gun and not a real one). We hear the shot and later see George with a slightly blooded bandage on his head. A lot of slapstick violence with George violently crushing on trees. Also, a lot of punching scenes. George gets punched, and punches people a lot. A woman says to George that she will "Remove the reason why he is wearing a lion cloth"
profanity 2 ass words, 1 incomplete "You son of a...", 1 incomplete "What the....", and 2 uses of "Oh my God," and 1 use each of "Oh God" and "God" as exclamations.
alcohol Lyle offers cigars to several porters, and lights them for the men and himself, and later is seen with another cigar.
frightening There's a brief scene where Ursula encounters a lion, and George then swings in and fights with the lion. Very young kids may find this to be a little tense, but it quickly turns into comedy as George tickles the lion and then throws him around the jungle as if they were both professional wrestlers. A scene involving extreme heights in which a man falls off a high bridge which could start off unsettling until it's shown that the man is okay. There is also some crude humor.
