For crude humor, a few times they show the farmers butt crack, nothing graphic, just for laughs.
A recurring plot element is a couple of the sheep dressing up as a woman, and the animal capturer trying to woo her/them. Nothing graphic.
||A fair amount of slapstick cartoon violence, all played for laughs with next to no sense of actual threat.
During the opening montage the farm dog gets squished between a wall and a door multiple times for comedic effect.
The farmer gets hit on the head by a ball and ends up in a hospital. There are no injuries, the only effect is him getting amnesia.
When the farmer is suffering from amnesia he ends up in a barber shop and in a semi-conscious state forcibly shaves a person's head. Played for laughs.
At one point the animal capturer uses a special weapon which fires a wire that electrocutes the target. This backfires, and he ends up comedically electrocuting himself.
||Verbally none, as the film has no spoken dialogue.
There are a few instances of rude physical humor. For example, towards the end of the film when the animal capturer is chasing the sheep his head ends up getting stuck in the butt of a pantomime horse the sheep have constructed out of cloth and scrap and ends up getting spun wildly. While in a restaurant the sheep try to imitate being people, take example of a man who burps, and all end up burping copiously.
||People in the backround drinking light wine in a restaurant.
||The animal capturer might scare younger children towards the end with his borderline mad behavior.
The first scene in the animal shelter might give a spooky vibe for younger children with its dark lighting, ominous atmosphere and the other animals staring threateningly at Shaun. One inhabitant in the shelter is a dog who is shown only constantly staring into the camera, which might unsettle younger viewers. In the end credits it is revealed that it is actually a cardboard cut-out and the actual dog has escaped, this is a reference to The Shawshank Redemption.
When the farmer drives Shaun and the other sheep away due to his amnesia, the film gets a bit sad for a while.
The film is a bit intense towards the end, as the animal capturer tries to drop the main characters into a quarry.
