When Amal’s father finds himself in the midst of a crisis, he decides to sell his land to his wealthy neighbor, Mamdouh, a factory owner. Murad abandons Amal, despite her love for him and her pledge to marry him since childhood. After she discovers Murad has left her, Amal announces her engagement to Mamdouh who proposed to her after professing his love.
